Bill Burton Fishing Pier State Park (Choptank River)

Fishing Pier
Crab, fish or stroll along what was the original bridge across the Choptank River. A riverside boardwalk connects to the Visitor Center at Sailwinds Park. Crabbing and fishing licenses are required.

The piers are lighted and welcome visitors 24 hours a day, every day of the year! The pier provides excellent fishing that includes perch, striped bass, hard heads, sea trout, and catfish.

Visitors can also enjoy crabbing, biking, walking, picnicking, jogging and sunbathing on the pier. The pier is also a great place to observe bay wildlife, such as Osprey and Geese.
