The Dorchester County Public Library system has ADA accessible locations in both Cambridge (303 Gay St.) and Hurlock (222 S. Main St.) with Wi-Fi Internet access and public PC use available free to visitors & residents alike.

The Library in Cambridge also has a free public meeting room facility that seats 80 auditorium style.

The County Library system offers a variety of programs and services including, book discussions, children's story times and craft activities, cultural events, 2nd Saturday (except August) used book sales (from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.), walk-in or phone-in reference desk service (410-228-7331), and a collection of over 85,000 items.

Library cards from other Maryland public libraries may be used to borrow items.
