The 22nd annual Hurlock Fall Festival kicks off Friday evening, Oct. 3rd, with Hurlock's Got Talent from 7-10pm at the Hurlock Train Station. (Winners will perform Saturday as well.)The festival gets into high gear on Saturday, Oct. 4, with a parade at 10am. Elected officials, local fire companies, school bands, antique cars, and many others make the parade one of the highlights of the day. Arts and crafts and food vendors are on hand from 8am-5pm. Music and entertainment. Plus pony rides for smaller children from 12:30-2pm. a clown, face painting, a corn hole and horseshoe tournament, best homemade pie contest, and more. There will also be the Hurlock Volunteer Fire Co. Annual Car & Bike Show. You can also board the Hurlock Express and ride back in time. Relax and enjoy your scenic journey through some of the most beautiful farmland in Dorchester County. This pleasant round-trip train ride goes from Hurlock to Federalsburg and back. Train departs from the Hurlock train station on Gay Street at 11am, 12:30pm, 2pm, 3:30pm, and 5pm. $8 per person.
