The Dorchester County Tourism Department operates out of the architectural design award-winning Visitors' Center at Sailwinds Park in Cambridge, Maryland. With its huge sail soaring more than 100 feet in the air, it is an Eastern Shore landmark located at the east end of the Route 50 Bridge across the Choptank River.
From 8:30am to 5pm daily, friendly staff awaits to assist with your plans in the Heart of Chesapeake Country. Most of your travel needs for Maryland's Eastern Shore can be met at the Visitors' Center as you enjoy the breathtaking view and the other amenities in the park complex including:
